For security reasons, this feature will always report a "New password sent" when you click the Send button. If you do not (or your account holder does not) receive an email containing your new password (make sure to check the Spam folder), please double-check that you have entered a valid Updox user id. Your Updox administrator can also set a new password for you using the Admin -> Manage Users function.
